Change Password

Use the Change Password page to change your My Ceridian Solutions password. This page appears when you enter your initial, expired, or temporary My Ceridian Solutions password on the My Ceridian Solutions login page.

Access permission for this page

Ceridian administrators don't change their initial passwords and can't access this page. Ceridian administrators are set up in and changes for them are made in Microsoft® Active Directory® directory service, not My Ceridian Solutions.

If you are a Ceridian administrator, to change your My Ceridian Solutions password, you must change your Microsoft Windows® operating system password. When you change your Windows operating system password, it synchronizes with your password for My Ceridian Solutions.

Initial Passwords

You receive an initial password in an email message after your user account is first set up. You enter this initial password the first time that you log in to My Ceridian Solutions, and then you must change the password.

Change initial password process

The process to change your initial password consists of several pages, which you complete in order. After you complete this process, the My Ceridian Solutions Home page appears or the requested Ceridian service opens.

Expired or temporary passwords

You must change your password when it expires, and you must enter a new password after you enter a temporary password and log in to My Ceridian Solutions.

After you change your password or set up a new password, you use this password when you log in to My Ceridian Solutions.

Expired passwords

My Ceridian Solutions policy controls how frequently your password expires. At this time, user account passwords expire every 60 days. When your password expires, you must change it before you can continue to use My Ceridian Solutions.

When you change your password successfully, you receive an email message that confirms the change.

You request a temporary password for My Ceridian Solutions and receive it in an email message when you:
