The web address or Uniform Resource Locator (URL) that you use to open the login page controls whether the:

Each time you log in to My Ceridian Solutions, you enter your client ID, user ID, and password. You must enter your password exactly as it was set up, including uppercase and lowercase letters. My Ceridian Solutions uses your login information to determine:

Remember Me on This Computer

If you click Remember Me on This Computer, My Ceridian Solutions remembers your client ID and user ID and displays this information each time that you open the login page. However, if you:

If you enter an initial, temporary, or expired password on the login page, you must complete additional tasks before you can log in to My Ceridian Solutions or open your Ceridian services. For more information, see Change Password.

Timeout period Top

When your My Ceridian Solutions session is inactive for 29 minutes and 30 seconds, a timeout warning message appears. If you click OK in 30 seconds, your session remains active.

If your session is inactive for more than 30 minutes, your session expires. After your session expires, you must click OK to close the timeout warning message. The next time you use the session, the My Ceridian Solutions Login page appears. You must log in to My Ceridian Solutions to continue.

Your security settings in the Microsoft® Windows® Internet Explorer® Internet browser control whether you can log in to My Ceridian Solutions.

First-party cookies

If you set up your Internet browser settings to block first-party cookies, when you click Log In on the login page, a Help topic appears. Before you can log in to My Ceridian Solutions, you must set up your Internet Explorer to accept cookies.

To set up Internet Explorer to accept cookies, you must change your Internet browser settings.

To set up your Internet browser to allow cookies

  1. Open Internet Explorer.
  2. On the menu bar, click Tools Internet Options.
  3. On the Internet Options window, do the following:
    1. Click the Privacy tab.
    2. In Settings, click Default or move the slider to Medium.
    3. Click Apply and then click OK.

If you click Log In on the login page and you do not log in to My Ceridian Solutions or receive an error message, you must change your security options settings in Internet Explorer 7 to allow active scripting. For more information, see To set up your security options to allow scripting.

To set up your security options to allow scripting

  1. Open Internet Explorer 7.
  2. On the menu bar, click Tools Internet Options.
  3. On the Internet Options window, do the following:
    1. Click the Security tab.
    2. In Select a Zone to View or Change Security Settings, click Intranet.
    3. In Security Level for This Zone, click Custom Level.
  4. On the Security Settings window, do the following:
    1. Scroll to the Scripting section and click Enable for the Active Scripting setting.
    2. Click OK.
  5. When a confirmation message appears, click Yes.

    Internet Explorer saves the security settings.

  6. On the Internet Options page, click OK.
